Wellington

Wellington is two markets sharing a zip code. There is the equestrian world around Palm Beach Polo, Grand Prix Village and the show grounds, and there is conventional suburban Wellington in Olympia, Binks Forest, Black Diamond and the Landings. We work in both and the jobs look nothing alike.

On the equestrian side, the concrete we are asked about is often not a garage at all. Barn aisles, wash racks, tack rooms, feed rooms, grooming stalls and equipment buildings. A sealed, seamless, textured floor in a barn is easier to disinfect, easier to sweep and considerably safer wet than bare or painted concrete. These slabs are usually sound but heavily contaminated, so prep runs long. They are also frequently large, and we quote them on site rather than by door count.

The suburban communities are more familiar territory. Two and three car garages, largely 1990s and 2000s construction, generally clean concrete. Binks Forest and Black Diamond run larger, Olympia is mostly two and three car.

One Wellington specific note on timing. During the winter equestrian season the traffic and the demands on the horse properties make scheduling genuinely harder out here. If you are on the equestrian side and thinking about a barn floor, the off season between late spring and early autumn is a much easier window.
